POST ANESTHESIA CARE NURSE - Med-Scribe : Job Details

Job Summary:

As a PACU RN, youll provide top-tier patient care by assessing both physical and psychosocial needs, creating and implementing patient care plans, and ensuring smooth post-operative experiences. This role involves close collaboration with the care team, communication with patients and families, and performing post-op evaluation calls.

Responsibilities Include:

• Implementing physician orders
• Assisting with orientation and supervision of staff
• Maintaining equipment and supplies
• Interpreting and communicating patient care information
• Providing post-op instructions to patients and families
• Performing post-op evaluation calls
• Flexibility in scheduling as needed (posted a week in advance)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of PACU or ICU experience (3-5 years preferred)
• Registered to practice nursing in New York State
• Strong communication and leadership skills
