Post Closer - Robert Half : Job Details

Description We are seeking a Post Closer in the mortgage industry, based in LINTHICUM, Maryland. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity and involves processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries.Responsibilities:- Handle general post-closing duties such as arranging and scanning files.- Log incoming mail into our Loan Origination System (LOS) and track missing closing packages.- Execute data entry in the LOS system, including light filing and purging of documents.- Communicate effectively with both internal and external parties, sending emails to chase down closing packages and documents.- Leverage knowledge of mortgage documents to ensure accurate and efficient processing.- Utilize skills in closing processes, customer service, post-closing, scanning, closing package, and filing.- Learn quickly to adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.- Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all tasks. Requirements - Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role in the mortgage industry- Demonstrated proficiency in closing processes and post-closing activities- Excellent customer service skills - Experience with scanning, filing, and data entry tasks- Familiarity with closing packages - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- High level of professionalism and ethical standards- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team- Proficiency in using computer software and applications relevant to the role- Must be willing to continually update skills and knowledge to keep up with industry changes.
