Job Title: Post CloserJob DescriptionThe Post Closer limits the company's exposure to liability and claims by reviewing closing files to ensure all title commitment requirements have been met prior to or at closing, to confirm file balances are accurate, and to verify good funds have been received before funds are disbursed and the final title policy is issued. They are responsible for assisting escrow branch operations with disbursement of escrow transactions and issuing final title policies. They review and prepare closing files for disbursement, disburse files by receipting funds and issuing checks and wires according to lender and/or escrow officer instructions, file conveyance and mortgage documents with County Recorders' Offices, input and maintain 1099 information for all purchase transactions, prepare and issue short and long form lender's title insurance policies and owner's title insurance policies, and monitor, maintain, and balance the Rynoh and Positive Pay systems.Hard Skills+ Mortgage/Banking experience+ Basic AccountingSoft Skills+ Proficiency in oral and written communication+ Organization+ Analytical/Problem solving skillsWork SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Springfield, Missouri.Work Environment8am-5pm M-F.
