We are looking for a Post-Processing and Inspection Technician I to join our Chattanooga Team. This position is for 1st shift. As a uniquely qualified candidate, you will:
* Perform post-processing operations including, but not limited to, mandrel removal, flushing, pressure testing, baking, and associated product testing
* Inspect product per specifications using specified measuring equipment
* Read, follow, and accurately complete all provided documentation (product drawings, work procedures, process logs, etc.)
* Have some computer proficiency with a willingness to learn computer systems required to perform job responsibilities
* Be able to prioritize effectively and manage multiple process responsibilities
* Demonstrate personal initiative and the ability to effectively execute tasks independently
* Follow good manufacturing practices (GMP): line clearance, work instructions, documentation, etc.
* Work with and train other skilled technicians/operators in post-processing operations, inspection methods, and required documentation
* Communicate issues to engineering for collaborative continuous improvement
* Be willing to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and have ability to modify work shift as needed by business conditions
* Perform other duties as required
Education, Experience and Requirements
* Associates degree with 2 years of work experience or equivalent combination of education and medical device/technical experience
* Extremely hands on with some mechanical aptitude
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail, professional attitude, team player
* Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
* Proof of 20/20 or better vision, unaided or corrected
