Job Summary
This position works in all three areas of the Post Office as a floater. Accepts mail, dispatches mail, sales stamps, money orders. Places campus mail in department and student boxes throughout the day. Works in for supervisor area when they are out.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Accepts, sorts, and forward mail.
Sell stamps, money orders, insurance for the contract window. Do a daily report for the United States Postal service.
Charges out mail for departments and applies postage with a meter machine.
Rents and closes boxes for students each semester.
Fill in for supervisor when he/she is out.
Drives the PO truck to main post office for supplies and performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High School graduate or GED
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Microsoft Office and Excel
Must be organized, self-motivated, work with little supervision.
Must have a driver's license and able to drive company truck.
Must have cell phone and able to contact students by text or call about their packages.
Work in a fast pace environment.
Multitasking and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with money and working with a point of sale system.
Any postal experience a plus.

Student Employee- 2-3 student employees
