TITLE: Press Operator C 6A14 - T-Sack Conversion - POSITION OBJECTIVE: Print/Operate in a safe and efficient manner so as to be productive, while maintaining high quality product with strict deadlines. QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Available to train on different machinery and sets of lines within the department
- Must be able to discern between various color shades
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work from prescribed production goals and standards, schedules, manuals, detailed specifications, consultations with bag department, shift leadership, maintenance, purchasing and others.
- Properly lace-up the equipment they have been assigned to.
- Understanding of P.H. and viscosity.
- Perform all daily task of data entry in the IBS Production System.
WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:
- Subject to extreme heat, temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour
- Subject to loud noises
- Hazards, such as moving machinery, electrical currents, debris, chemicals, gases
TRAINING:
- Safety in the Workplace Rules and Regulations.
- cGMP's and SOP's.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:
- Stooping/Bending
- Kneeling
- Reaching
- Standing for long periods of time
- Grasping
- Getting on/off forklift
