Poultry Specialist - Fleet Farm : Job Details

Responsible for watering and changing chicks bedding a minimum of two times daily. Understand all processes involved with live chicks such as selling, ordering, animal maintenance, receiving product, etc. Understand how to care for the live chicks and how to handle all birds, including sick/deceased animals. Review and react to all communication sent from Store Support Center Partners and Vendors. Research and maintain a relationship with the local 4 H clubs and school FFA. Complete all necessary training and understand the playbook for this role. Understand the necessary supplies a customer will need to care for their live chicks and recommend products, such as feed, additives (electrolytes), etc. Maintain ownership of the Special-Order poultry program. Assists customers in purchasing Special Order breeds, monitors inbound receipts for arrival, contacts customers to pick up their birds. Responsible for maintenance of the Orion Special Order portal.
