This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.What you'll be doing as a Powder Coater:Perform electrostatic powder coating of products in a spray booth or batch booth according to specification.Determine paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality by performing visual inspections or by using quality toolsEnsure that all components are produced/coated efficiently and are consistent with company established goals for quality and customer order on-time performanceCleaning of Powder Coating booth and powder guns at the end of shift or during paint changes.Inspect material from fabrication shop for successful applicationCoat manufactured parts consistent to customer and internal quality needsOperate automated spray booth and manual spray gunsUtilize the paint line as efficiently as possible with minimal stoppages and gapsOperate all coating equipment including the guns, hoppers, and booth collection systemComfortability in coating on a perpetual line as well as in batch powder settingPaint parts consistently per instructions and quality specsMaintain a clean and organized work areaAssist/support the Floor Supervisor and Operations Manager with tasks as necessAvailable shifts:Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)Job requirements:Comfortability in working in non-temperature-controlled work environmentAble to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environmentGood knowledge of the mechanics and repair of painting equipmentAbility to maintain a pace of work that matches line speedAbility to identify and consistently maintain required mil thicknessAbility to perform color changes, and properly maintain powder delivery systemStrong work ethic, very strong attendance, and the desire to excelAbility to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basisAbility to stand for up to 10 hoursExcellent hand/eye coordinationDemonstrated ability to effectively use power toolsGood manual dexterity, coordination, and staminaConsistently wear personal protective equipmentAbility to work in production facility with fluctuating temperatures and humidity levelsBackground check and Drug test requiredReady to take control of the way you work?Complete our application to join the PeopleReady team today.Employees and their eligible dependents are offered Medical/Dental/Vision insurance and short term disability, in addition to other programs [,as well as number of paid days off and/or more generous paid sick leave days].
