Job Title: Powder Painter Department: Paint Reports to: Production Supervisor Classification: Non Exempt/Hourly Hiring Bonus: $2,500.00 Hiring Bonus To Be Paid Out After 90 Days of Employment Duties & Responsibilities: Understand all operations and safety procedures of the paint line Ability to perform metal finishing Understand the paint millage for each product and can check millage when needed Inventory and requisition paints and like products Perform daily water sampling and chemical checks and records into daily log Perform and assists with tank dumps on a regular schedule Assist with loading and unloading the paint line Operate tow motor and overhead crane safely and efficiently Required Skills & Abilities: Ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints, assembly prints, packing lists, shop orders, and other written correspondence Knowledge of fractions and decimals Able to use tape measure, calipers, micrometers, etc. Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent Two years' experience in a production environment preferred Personal Protection Equipment Training (PPE), Global Harmonization System Training (GHS), Lock Out- Tag Out Training, (LOTO) Onsite training available Tow Motor and Overhead Crane Certification Onsite training available Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward frequently Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs.
