Power Equipment / Small Engine Mechanic Lead - Federated Co-ops : Job Details

Of the Power Equipment / Small Engine Mechanic Lead. Other duties may be assigned Locate causes of trouble, dismantle engines, and examine parts for defects. Provide repair and time estimates. Provide customer sales, service, and support. Replace or repair parts such as rings and bearings. Clean/adjust/replace carburetor and fuel systems. Start repaired engines and listen to sounds to test performance. Replace engines on machines. Repair/replace mower decks, blades, and performs routine service. Repair and replace drive systems. Operate company vehicles, equipment, and forklift. Maintain a clean work area and perform work in a neat and orderly fashion. Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments. Complete all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments. Accounts for all time on a timecard and for all material used in performing assigned duties.
