Our client is one of the largest megawatt generation and transmission cooperative in TX whose territory stretches across 68 different counties in the Panhandle to Houston. Being the first cooperative formed in TX for the purpose of generating and supplying electrical power. Fast forward to present day they are the wholesale power supplier for 16 member-owner distribution cooperatives and one municipal system.They are currently on the market to expand the engineering team in target of veteran talent who possess engineering degrees and want to join this industry in Waco. If you have a degree in electrical, mechanical, civil, nuclear, or mechatronics then reach out to us directly to learn more about each unique engineering role they have and where you can make an impact on this workforce.Duties:- Collaborate and coordinate: Work closely with internal teams and external partners, including contractors, consultants, and member cooperatives, to manage and coordinate project activities- Design and innovate: Prepare and analyze engineering drawings and specifications, designing systems that incorporate protective relays, transformers, circuit breakers, and other critical equipment, your work will ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations- Troubleshoot and enhance: Diagnose and troubleshoot protection-related systems, supporting operational modifications and enhancements to maintain optimal system performance- Analyze and report: Analyze system fault records and provide detailed reports to the cooperative, outside utility, or ERCOT personnel, helping to maintain the integrity and reliability of our electrical systems- Project management: Lead projects from conception to completion, including estimating costs, managing schedules, and evaluating materials.
