JDPR, a leading marketing communications agency in Greenville, SC, is seeking to hire a seasoned marketing-communications/PR professional to join a growing team in a fast-paced environment, representing national brands – with primary focus on sports and lifestyle accounts – including Public Relations, Media Relations, Marketing and Digital Media. In addition to a passion for exceeding expectations, the ideal candidate should demonstrate proven experience in strategic communications and a track-record of directing client presentations/meetings, managing budget allocation across paid media programs and maintaining accurate reporting against strategic KPIs.
Among the successful candidate's responsibilities:
• Strategic Planning
• Message Development
• Crafting media materials – including news releases, media alerts and FAQs – for distribution to target media.
• National-level Media Relations
• Primary Client Contact
• Client Service – track record of success building and maintaining relationships
• Business/Journalistic Writing and Versatile Content Creation
• Event/Trade Show Support
• Social Media Program Leadership
• ROI Analysis
• Conducting research on new business opportunities
• Corporate Social Responsibility Platform Development
• 5-10% travel
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, or relevant field preferred.
5+ years of demonstrated agency-side experience - does not need to be PR agency experience.
Proven client-management experience.
In addition to the job requirements, your resume will land at the top of the stack if you have established national media relationships in the sports, men's interest and business categories.
