Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
  • Participate in the planning of public relations initiatives and create media plans.
  • Execute media relations strategies and related media activities.
  • Assist the Director of Communications in managing external Chinese media projects, organizing, expanding, and managing media resources.
  • Collect materials, assist in drafting, and follow up on the publication of press releases for various school events.
  • Track the latest Chinese media trends, monitor news, public engagement, and industry perspectives, and support the school's branding campaigns by assisting in content creation and editorial support for both editorials and advertisements.
  • Produce media reports in a timely manner following media events.
  • Conduct daily monitoring of public opinion and create public opinion reports at key moments.
  • Assist in the operations of the school's official Chinese We Media platforms, including WeChat, Weibo, and RED.
  • A certain understanding of classical music is required; candidates with a classical music background are preferred.
  • Handle internal administrative tasks for the department.
  • Other tasks as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or above; those majoring in journalism, communication, musicology, arts management, and English with a master's degree obtained abroad are preferred.
  • More than 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in media or PR and/or experience in music education would be preferred.
Requirements:
  • Excellent writing abilities in Chinese and English; fluent in spoken Chinese and English.
  • Ability to independently collect information and create content.
  • Proactive in project execution.
  • A positive team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to effectively communicate and collaborate with media professionals, students, musicians, administrators, and external partners from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks under pressure in a short period of time and efficiently prioritizing and completing assigned tasks.
  • A certain understanding and passion for classical music.
  • Proficient in office software and media content creation applications.
