  • Concept, collaborate on, and execute informed and impactful public relations strategies and campaigns for Crowley Webb and clients
  • Alongside the VP, public relations, oversee the day-to-day management of campaigns and PR activities
  • Develop (or oversee the development of) high-quality media materials for Crowley Webb and its clients, including press releases, reports, media alerts/advisories, pitches, briefing documents, etc., ensuring all materials present a clear, unified, and positive image for the organization and/or brand
  • Participate in account planning and strategy development
  • Generate new, proactive ideas and opportunities to help ensure client success
  • Cultivate, maintain, and leverage strong relationships with local, regional, national, and global media contacts on behalf of Crowley Webb and clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business goals and communication needs, and serve as a main, day-to-day client contact, leading client calls and meetings
  • Monitor PR activity and analyze data, prepare coverage reports, and share with the appropriate audiences
  • Oversee, organize, execute, and staff media and community events
  • Participate in new business opportunities as needed, providing insights and recommendations for proposals and presentations
  • Write and collaborate on content for company blogs and external outlets
  • Stay on top of PR industry trends, and research new outlets, trends, and industry opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience in a relevant field (e.g., communication, marketing, advertising)
  • Minimum of five years of work experience in a related field (e.g., PR, marketing, advertising)
  • Experience using media monitoring software a plus (e.g., Meltwater or Cision)
  • Deep knowledge in the public relations/social media industry, as well as current affairs, news media, and social media trends
  • Proven track record strategizing and executing successful media relations campaigns at both a local/regional and national level
  • Existing knowledge and experience on various social media platforms
  • Knowledge of (or willingness to learn about) data protection (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR) and maintaining confidentiality
  • Proficiency with computer software such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Google Drive
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently on projects once directed
  • Ability to effectively manage timelines and deadlines, confidently negotiate, and bring new ideas to the table
Salary range: $45,000 - $65,000 annuallySalary is always based on the unique set of skills, knowledge, and experience a candidate brings to the position.
