This Practice Transition Manager is a remote based role with regular U.S. travel at approximately 50% or more during peak periods, during the work week.
This role will lead a physicians transition from the traditional medical practice model to an MDVIP practice model, ensuring a smooth and professionally managed process to meet or exceed all established corporate and physician transition metrics. The Practice Transition Manager will direct the transition activities from start to finish, positively influencing and motivating the internal teams messaging, administration, and performance; staffs opinions and beliefs; physicians demeanor, messaging, and actions. Conducts staff training and prepares them to effectively communicate MDVIPs model to patients throughout the transition. Hosts effective sales events and webinars to drive membership growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Transitions:1. Manages all transition elements from the initial Sales hand-off to the post-open and regular ongoing account management team.2. Develops transition plan that meets the physicians needs and internal departments capabilities. Conducts a minimum of bi-weekly site visits based on the complexity of the transition and attends/leads all transition related conference calls.3. Works collaboratively with the onsite Sales Representatives and internal management to effectively troubleshoot and resolve problems. Maintains daily contact and accessibility to ensure timely responses.4. Works with the implementation team and physician to approve all materials used throughout the transition.5. Monitors sales reporting and identifies opportunities to increase sales through specific sales initiatives or community joiner activities.6. Updates transition activities in internal systems to document activity and update internal teams.
Training and Presentations: 1. Conducts all physician and staff training related to the transition to prepare for opening under the MDVIP model. 2. Conducts events to gain insight and validate practice success indicators, while generating sales. Adjusts/modifies messaging for upcoming events.3. Serves as onsite lead and presenter for town hall events and other prospective patient meetings, including webinars. 4. Schedules and participates in physician media training sessions with MDVIPs PR team.

Education / Experience / Knowledge: Bachelors degree from four-year college or university, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, or Management, and at least four years related business and/or medical sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience where two years related experience equals one year of schooling.
Required Skills and Experience: A minimum of 4 years in medical sales, account management, customer service, practice management or clinical work; or two years of related experience in the MDVIP environment. Ability to sell intangible or abstract concepts. Project oriented, organized, creative, and intuitive. Ability to conduct professional, compelling sales presentations (formal and informal). Able to establish credibility with physician and staff and sell ideas/concepts for a win-win result. Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and strategic planning skills used in prior roles.
Desirable Skills and Experience: Sales experience, project management, presentation skills and experience interfacing with physicians in a professional capacity is highly desirable. Has a general understanding of medical field, insurance, Medicare, credentialing, EHR systems, etc.
Certificates and Licenses: Valid Drivers license with insurable driving record. HIPAA Certification is required (or to be obtained within 30 days of hire).
Remote based role: This role requires substantial U.S. travel as identified at the time of hire, or transfer. Due to substantial air travel, the home residence must be within 45 miles or 90 minutes driving distance to a large airport servicing the United States. When not traveling, this role is approved for home-based work, from the location identified at the time of hire/transfer.
