We currently have an opening for a Pre-Press Production Artist for our Corrugated Print Production facility in Tucker, GA. This facility manufactures Flexographic printing plates for the Post-Print and Pre-Print Corrugated products for local and national customers.Key Functions:Pre-flight/qualify electronic files as viable for use.Vector and Bitmap graphic adjustment in relation to Plate output and printing specifications.Quality Control.Procedure & process adherence.Must produce impeccable results while employing strict printing and digital specifications.Output to Computer to Plate and Film Based and various proofing Equipment.Qualifications:Minimum of 3-6 years as a professional Pre-Press Technician with a thorough knowledge of, and concentration in, Flexographic Printing Specifications and their application, is required.Knowledge of Corrugated Packaging is highly desirable but not required.Working Knowledge of Esko Graphics Software is Essential.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or higher is mandatory.Proficiency in Macintosh OSX is necessary.Minimum 2 year Degree in Graphic Design/Communications or Printing Technology.Pay Rate:$51,000 - $68,000Multiple factors, including individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.Additional Requirements:Highly organized and motivated.Must employ efficient and effective computer skills and work habits.Exemplify professionalism.Technically savvy.Exceptionally detail oriented.Self-sufficient.Solid problem solving aptitude.Multi-tasking capability.International Paper offers a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package that includes medical, dental, disability, life and accident insurance, vacation as well as a 401(k) plan and retirement savings account.
