Pre Production Manager - Splits59 : Job Details

Job Overview:

The Pre-Production Manager will oversee the development of samples from PP handoff to TOP approval, ensuring that all materials and garments meet Splits59 standards. This role requires technical proficiency in activewear fabrics and sewing. The ideal candidate will manage lab dips throughout the product cycle and be responsible for various aspects of pre-production and bulk production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee pre-production samples from PP handoff to TOP approvals. This includes measuring samples, conducting fittings, updating Tech Packs, and communicating with factories during this phase.
• Manage WIP reports from PP to TOP.
• Ensure bulk raw material and garment testing adhere to Splits59 standards.
• Approve and catalog bulk fabric and raw materials.
• Collaborate with factories to ensure proper garment execution.
• Catalog patterns used for production.
• Oversee the color library and manage raw material lab dips and color approvals from initial handoff to bulk production.
• Manage lab dip WIP.
• Utilize a light booth to read colors and comment on lab dips to mills.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in Production or Product Development.
• Proficiency in activewear fabrics, garment construction, and sewing a must.
• Keen eye for color.
• Degree in Product Development or Manufacturing.
• Proactive with problem-solving skills and the ability to address issues timely.
• Flexible, team player with strong communication skills.
• Deadline-oriented with the ability to adhere to time and action calendars.
• Some lifting as required.
• This position is on-site only and does not offer remote work options.
