Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Our Client is in search of a Director for their pre-school located in Philadelphia The candidate should have strong experience running a large center. Successful experience running a large childcare center. Age doesn't matter so much as actual experience as a director, not an assistant director, managing Procare or similar childcare management software, billings and collections, staff assignments and maintaining ratios and tracking,
Experience is the key for this center. It's large, filled with teachers who have been there forever and are extremely dedicated and proud of their center, and 98% + of our families there receive state subsidy.
Another point that would be helpful is experience dealing with power income minority families receiving subsidy. They are very different to deal with and manage and keep them happy than are white middle class or higher income suburban families. The race of the director is irrelevant, but experience with these types of families does make a significant difference.

Experience: 2+ years managing a large center: (10,000sq. feet or more with over 100 children).
