PreK Director Full Day Program - AlphaBEST Education : Job Details

FULL DAY PreK SCHOOL DIRECTOR - TEWKSBURY, MAAlphaBEST Education, Inc. is seeking a Pre K School Director for the Tewskbury, Massachusetts Public School District. The Director 1 or 2 Program Administrator will provide leadership, supervision, and coordination of the program and will have the opportunity to partner with the school, parents, and your team to facilitate learning through passionate delivery of high-quality programming. Our unique curriculum is designed to be actively engaging for children and teacher-friendly for ease of delivery. This is a full-time position (35-40 hours per week).Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe and caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, and parent relationships are fostered
• Supervise, train, motivate and supervise all before and after school staff
• Build and maintain relationships by creating open and ongoing communication with parents and school administration
• Organize and oversee the school site to create a fun and engaging learning environment
• Provide guidance and feedback to help team members increase knowledge and strengthen skills to accomplish individual and team goals
• Maintain a weekly control system which includes monitoring bills and payments
• Maintain MA State child-care licensure compliance at the designated school site

Required qualifications:

• Twenty-one years or older and MUST be at least Director 1 qualified by EEC. To see EEC requirements, please click here and select Director 1:
• Provide a safe, caring and supportive environment for children
• Communicate professionally and effectively with children, parents, and staff
• Good judgment and sound decision-making skills
• Ability to pass and maintain a criminal background check
• Knowledge of state policies and procedures regarding childcare regulations
