POSITION SUMMARY: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Nutritionist - Per Diem - Women's Wellness - Hempstead. In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for counseling and evaluation of special diets and unusually difficult nutritional problems. Provide a copy for a special diet, implement therapeutic prescriptions and design appropriate dietary regimens for individual's patients after acquiring doctor's orders. Evaluate patient's compliance with prescribed therapeutic diet and suggest appropriate action to be taken. Performs all other duties as it relates to specialty.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To qualify you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and/or Public Health. Master's Degree in Nutrition or related field. Current NYS Dietitian License. Current NYS Dietitian Registration (CDR). 1-2 years Nutrition in Related Specialty Experience. Excellent Communication skills (both oral & written), interpersonal and organization skills. Basic Computer Knowledge including Microsoft Word. REQUIRED LICENSES: Dietetics-Nutrition-NYS, Registered Dietitian
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 3-5 years in Hospital/Private Practice Setting.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $37.15 - $37.15 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
