Prep Chef - KIKKA SUSHI : Job Details

Kikka sushi is looking for an energetic, hardworking, dependable, prep cook / line cook / team players who will provide great customer service in the Whole Foods Market located at: 4710 Madison Yards Way, Madison, WI Full time, 5 days a week (must work all Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays). 8 hour shifts (plus an unpaid meal break) between 7am – 6:00pm. The prep cook / line cook / team member will also do prep work, prepare other Asian foods and maintain a clean and neat environment while helping customers in a fun, fast paced, exciting environment. To thrive in this job you must show up to work on time and as scheduled, have a flexible morning and evening availability, be willing to work hard (this isn't an easy job), be patient (it takes about 3 months to get comfortable with the job), must be willing to stick it out (not quit after a few days or weeks) and be able to work with multi-cultural and multi-lingual co-workers, some who barely speak English. Pay is $16.00 - 18.00 per hour, depending on years of sushi making experience. Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Have great customer service skills Must be able and willing to work all Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
