Full job description Prep Cook is responsible for consistently offering professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow Colleagues and assisting the culinary leadership on a day to day basis by completing assigned duties and tasks.
Duties & Tasks: - Read, measure, and execute recipes.
- Maintain a solid knowledge, understanding and preparation of base sauces, stocks and soups
- Effectively communicate with management, chefs, and service staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other employees.
- Exhibits a solid knowledge, understanding and application of various cooking techniques.
- Versatile in preparing both hot and cold items.
- Prepare and service all food items according to hotel recipes and standards.
