Prepcook / Cook - Silver Mountain Resort : Job Details

Position: Prep Cook / Cook Department: Food & BeverageHours: Varied, Seven days a weekESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The overriding and most important function of each and every employee is to either directly (by interacting with the guest) or indirectly (by providing the key support role to the guest experience) strive to provide the finest in friendly service and quality products.

• Preparing food products for all menu items
• Ensuring fresh stock of food items
• Preparing food items for banquets
• General knowledge of food service sanitation and kitchen safety
• Maintain overall cleanliness of kitchen area
• Use of cleaning agents
• Working near hot surfaces
• Performs other duties as assigned or needed or may be required to assist in other departments

RequirementsQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work on feet majority of shift
• Must be positive, energetic & helpful toward fellow employees and guests
• Must follow all procedures and guidelines as stated in the employee handbook
• Must be flexible in work schedule
