Job Title: Preschool Lead Teacher FLSA Status: full time, non-exemptY Job Grade 6Wage: 18.49 - $22.00/hr, depends on experienceDepartment: YMCA Learning CenterReports to: Learning Center DirectorProbation: Subject to a 12-month introductory (probationary) periodPOSITION SUMMARY: The Greater Missoula Family YMCA Learning Center is hiring a team oriented, dependable, loving and compassionate lead teacher who loves to engage and have fun with children age 3-4 in a quality care learning environment. The Lead Teacher is responsible for organizing and leading daily activities of pre-kindergarten children. They oversee the program curriculum and environment, providing a high quality, developmentally appropriate experience to meet the needs of the children and families in the program. We are hiring a lead teacher with either: two years' experience in licensed childcare; a degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or Psychology with coursework in child development; or a CDA.
