About the Role

As a Preschool teacher at Stratford School, you're responsible for creating a safe and nurturing learning environment for children between the ages of 3 and 5. You will provide a warm, caring, joyful environment that encourages preschoolers' natural curiosity, and instills confidence in their innate abilities.

  • Plan, supervise and implement curriculum of reading, writing, and math

  • Communicate daily with parents or guardians

  • Maintain a well-organized and engaging classroom environment

What We Are Looking For

  • Educational background with 12 semesters or 18 quarter early childhood education units shall include courses that cover the general areas of early child development, child, family, and community, and program/curriculum or a bachelor's degree in child development

  • Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Prior teaching experience with young students is preferred
