Vice President, FP&A CATEGORY Accounting/Finance LOCATION Phoenix, Arizona SALARY $215,000 - $230,000 JOB REFERENCE 53959 Job Description Vice President, FP&A A multi-site healthcare company, supported by Private Equity, is in search of a Vice President, FP&A. The Vice President of FP&A will serve as a strategic leader responsible for overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, balance sheet and cash flow analyses and reporting, and strategic planning. This position will be pivotal in driving financial performance, optimizing operational efficiency, and enabling growth. An ideal candidate will have a track record of successfully operating in dynamic environments and should be comfortable working cross-functionally to resolve issues. Candidates will have the flexibility to work in a hybrid environment. Responsibilities Own monthly financial reporting package, lender reporting package, and monthly Board of Directors Presentation Own short-term and long-term liquidity and cash flow reporting and forecasting Maintain three-statement financial model Lead annual budget process and midyear re-forecast cycles Track investment and capital expenditure spending and work closely with budget owners to ensure accuracy of forecasts Oversee all planning and financial reporting associated with corporate expenses Work closely alongside accounting and finance teams to understand fluctuations from previous months, identify process improvements, and strive towards clear line of sight to accurate forecasting in future periods Serve as finance owner of the Digital service line Continuously improve FP&A's organizational efficiency and effectiveness by participating in internal change initiatives Provide meaningful, actionable insights, advice, and recommendations based on historic and forecasted financial data Develop executive-level analyses to be used by CFO and Board of Directors for monthly board meetings Coordinate and effectively communicate with various teams throughout the company and all levels of management regarding accounting and/or finance results Support initiatives to help the business in achieving its strategic objectives Partner with functional teams to understand operational changes and subsequent impact on financial results Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement, committed to quality, communication, and eagerness to collaborate Education, Skills and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is required Minimum 8 years of accounting and/or finance experience Experience building high-level and detailed financial models Proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize quickly, and deliver results Strong communication skills to convey financial results to non-financial leaders Strong excel and financial modeling skills Desire for continuous learning and growth Finance acumen to drive budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and financial reporting Accounting knowledge (BS, P&L, CF) Lead staff and projects in change management and integrate systems, processes, and teams Ability to assimilate information easily and present complex issues Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with management, medical staff, auditors, and the public Facilitating goal attainment through the efforts of multi-disciplinary teams.
