About the Role
The Company is seeking a President for its Foundation, who will serve as the strategic leader responsible for setting and achieving the Foundation's goals, with a focus on significantly growing revenue through real estate investment, including development and acquisitions. The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing the business plan, fiscal management, and shared oversight of the roles and responsibilities of the Philanthropic & Events Manager. Strategic responsibilities include developing annual strategic and financial plans, partnering with the CEO and CAO, and representing the Foundation before various stakeholders. The role also involves managing the entire real estate development process, from site selection to stabilization, and requires a strong background in multi-family real estate, particularly affordable housing, as well as experience in leading high-performance teams and a proven track record in real estate project development.Applicants for the President position at the Foundation should have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in a related field, with an MBA being a plus. A minimum of 7 years' of experience in multi-family real estate development and acquisitions, including affordable housing, is required, along with a successful history of running a division, foundation, or small business. The ideal candidate will possess a valid driver's license, demonstrated knowledge of real estate transactions, and experience in housing agencies or foundations. Special requirements include strong analytical and financial skills, the ability to interact and motivate stakeholders, and a high degree of professionalism. The role demands exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to make strategic business decisions and a commitment to the Foundation's mission.
