About the Role

The Company is seeking a President to provide visionary leadership and strategic direction. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the association's operations, including membership services, advocacy, industry leadership, financial management, and staff development. This role demands a highly respected and experienced leader with a strong commitment to the association and its members. The President will work closely with the Board, staff, and stakeholders to ensure the organization's vibrancy, relevancy, and growth as the leading trade association in the industry. Key responsibilities include strategy development and implementation, governance, advocacy, management, and influence and relationship building.Candidates for the President position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of executive leadership experience, with a proven track record in strategic planning, financial management, and staff leadership. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is a working knowledge of Washington, DC, including legislative and regulatory affairs. Experience in the construction industry, particularly with the ready-mixed concrete sector, is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have a reputation for integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree is required, and a Master's degree or equivalent business experience is a plus. The role also requires a leader with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, the ability to drive change, and a future-oriented perspective on digital evolution.
