Press Brake Operator Reports To: Operations ManagerFLSA Status: Non-Exempt, HourlyJob Status: Full-TimeSchedule: M-Th - 6am - 4:30pm, overtime as requested on Fridays. The goal of the Bending Department is to maintain a safe work environment and produce quality parts as efficiently as possible.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Perform safe start up and shut-down sequence of equipment.
  • Verify prints match the revision on the work order.
  • Review prints to identify correct material.
  • Select the correct dye for the program.
  • Locate correct program on the machine for each specific job.
  • Select the correct bend sequence.
  • Perform operational functions of the job.
  • Perform all dimensional inspections utilizing precision measurement tools and document as required.
  • Organize parts on pallets.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIESEducation: High school DiplomaExperience: Metal fabrication manufacturing environment with operation of a press brake or similar equipment, preferred. Willing to train the right candidate.Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of a computer or cell phone is helpful.Certificates & Licenses: N/AOther Requirements:
  • Blueprint Reading
  • Read measurement tools: calipers and tape measure.
  • Operate tools: Hammer, Allen Wrench, Open End Box Wrench
