Job Title: Press Brake OperatorJob Opportunity: Press Brake OperatorAre you a detail-oriented and technically skilled professional with a passion for metal fabrication? We're looking for a dedicated Press Brake Operator to join our team! In this role, you'll set up, operate, and maintain press brake machines to shape, bend, and cut metal parts with precision, all while working in a supportive and growth-focused environment.Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate press brake machinery to bend, shape, and form metal parts, ensuring accuracy according to engineering blueprints and job specifications.Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders to determine product specifications, tooling requirements, and the sequence of operations.Install appropriate tooling, adjust machine settings, and configure parameters based on material type, thickness, and production needs.Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy, making adjustments to the machine as necessary to meet specifications.Perform routine maintenance on press brake machinery, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs, to ensure optimal performance.Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.Essential Skills:Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.Strong understanding of press brake operation, tooling setup, and metal fabrication processes.Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in an industrial manufacturing environment.Keen attention to detail with a focus on precision in machine setup and product inspection.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Prior experience with metal fabrication equipment.Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.Why Work With Us?Join a family-owned business in its third generation of leadership, where you'll enjoy a positive, collaborative culture and ample opportunities for career growth. Overtime may be required to meet production goals.
