- Enter job completion details accurately into our OMS visual system.
- Plan several jobs ahead to ensure job materials are ready.
- Examine job orders to determine quantities for printing, stock specifications, color or special printing instructions.
- Fill out all proper documentation relating to job requirements. Examples being load tags, orders, data analysis, coating documentations.
- Monitor feeding and printing operations to maintain specified operating level and to detect malfunctions.
- Responsible for relaying responsibilities to the feeder operator and communicating daily tasks.
- Help clean up ink fountains during job change over process and perform line clearance protocols from previous job.
- Grease and lubricate press to manufacturing specs, and per the company's planned maintenance program.
- Quality and procedures when managing color on the printing press.
- Shift Change - The press needs to be prepared for the next shift. Goal would be to have a running press at shift change.
