summary ResourceMFG NOW hiring Press Operator Pay: 19/hrShift: 7AM-330PM Monday to Friday Job Summary: The press operator will manufacture metal fabricated products as specified in blueprints. Essential Functions: Operates safety equipment and uses safe work habits while performing his job function. Detects faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notifies supervisors. Responsible for lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers. Understand and interpret blueprints Use micrometers, calipers and various other precision measurement devises Understands materials, cutting tools and speeds and feeds Understands urgency/deadline requirements Ability to communicate well with engineers Ability to manufacture a finished part and take responsibility for the accuracy of finished product Daily production tracking Ability to multi-task by running multiple machines simultaneously Part Process Planning-raw material to finished product Understands tolerances and tolerance stack up Machine shop mathematics Experience in Low Volume machine Perform routine quality inspections per procedure Perform other relevant duties as assigned required-skills: Qualification Requirements: 3-5 years of Machinist and/or Press Operator experience-Set up and operate Manual & CNC Mills, Lathes, and Grinders Ability to read and utilize blueprints High School Diploma or equivalent High School Diploma/GEDrequired-experience: 6 months-1 Year
