Toppan Interamerica Inc. is a specialty printer of decorative papers for the furniture and flooring industries. Toppan prints natural wood, stone reproductions, and trendy abstracts on rotogravure printing presses. Toppan's facility located in Morgantown PA opened in 1988. Minimum Qualifications for Press Utility

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be able to pass a PFT test, Color Test, and Fit test for respirator.
• Pass all pre-employment screening
• Authorized to work in the US

Essential Functions:

• Performs general maintenance duties:
  • sweeping/mopping (up to 8lbs)
  • cleaning parts in parts cleaner
  • scraping floors
  • trash disposal/use of trash compactor
  • assist all presses
• Maintain supplies at press
• Assist all team members in re-threading process on presses
• Maintain proper labeling of all containers including drums and buckets.
• Build doctor blades to specifications as needed
• Assist with job changeovers
• Preparation and cleaning of all necessary items
• Set up Ink station
• Assist in preparation for change over process
• Perform quality check on samples of product
• Assists and learns form 3rd Operator as time allows
• Performs any other duties required by Supervisor
• Assist Departmental and Production Management in all needs in and outside of the department as well to ensure the completion of the entire production process in the plant.
• Mandatory overtime when scheduled.

Skills Required for Press Utility:

• Willingness to work overtime as required
• Strong communication skills
• Proven commitment to safety
• Comfort with working at heights
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Office software (i.e., Excel, Word, and Power Point)
• Ability to read and understand manuals, specifications, drawings
• Attention to detail and excellent follow up skills
• Must be self-motivated with excellent time management skills
• Ability to work with little or no supervision
• High attention to detail
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to regularly climb ladders, , stepladders, and stairs
• Must be able to differentiate colors to match ink colors
• Flexibility to bend/stoop, squat, and kneel repetitively during shift
• Ability to move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis for a shift
• Ability to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis for a shift
• Ability to walk extensively throughout the plant for a shift.

Work Schedule:

*must be able to train on 1st shift**

1st Shift - Monday - Friday 06:00am - 2:00pm

2nd Shift - Monday - Friday 02:00 pm - 10:00 pm

3rd Shift - Sunday - Thursday 10:00pm - 6:00am
