What This Position is All About Under direction from the Alteration Manager, the Alteration Presser is responsible for producing high quality altered merchandise within established time frame standards while providing customer service, establishing and helping to maintain customer relationships and working effectively with other team members within the store.

You Also Have: - Minimum of 3 years pressing/quality control experience in high-end merchandise
- Ability to press a range of garments
- Ability to use pressing equipment, steam and block fabrics
- Inspect and check altered garments to meet SFA standards
- Address any quality issues or problems observed
- Ability to press garments of the most complex nature such as: knits, pleated garments, gowns, leather etc.
- Ability to remove spots/stains from a range of fabrics
- Oversees condition of the pressing, spotting and boiler room equipment

- Ensure highest quality final presentation of altered garments
- Ad hoc responsibilities as needed

Salary and Other Compensation:The starting hourly rate for this position is between [$23.58-$29.47
per hour]. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include market, skills, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
