Maintain the performance management plans including conducting one-on-one meetings, as needed, as well as bi-annual feedback sessions and annual reviews.Submit federal reports and provide requested data/documentation within a timely manner. Ensure that designated staff submit requested documentation in a timely manner.Represent the HIV Prevention Program through attendance at delegated meetings, represent HIV Prevention within internal/external committees and workgroups.Attend quarterly Georgia Prevention and Care Council meetings as the HIV state prevention representative. Deliver presentations as requested by the body.Work closely with the Ryan White Part B Manager to assist with the integration and coordination of linkage and retention to HIV treatment and care among prevention activities.Work closely with HIV Data Team Manager to ensure program planning, monitoring and evaluation and quality assurance activities are implemented using the most current data as needed for Prevention grant(s).Demonstrates leadership skills through effective interpersonal skills, verbal/non-verbal communication and active participation in departmental or organizational committees/workgroups.Recruits, hires, trains, supervises, and continually evaluates performance.Mi imum QualificationsBachelor's degree in operations management, business administration, or a related field which includes four (4) years in a managerial or supervisory role; or Eight (8) years of related professional experience which includes four (4) years in a managerial or supervisory role; or Four (4) years of experience required at the lower level Mgr 2, Business Ops (GSM011) or position equivalent.Note: An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted year-over-year.Preferred QualificationsCompletion of a Master's degree in Public Health, Social Work, Communication or a field related to the area of assignment and four years of human service program planning or professional-level delivery experience in work related HIV/AIDS.Experience in HIV/AIDS programs at state and local levels. Experience in managing state-level programs, implementing strategies and innovative programs within high-risk communities and populations.Completion of a Bachelor's degree in any field and seven years of human services program planning or professional-level delivery experience in work related HIV/AIDS.The successful applicant will possess competencies in the areas of oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, teamwork, leadership, media relations and planning/evaluation.Experience supervising staff, building teams and demonstrated leadership abilitiesExperience developing and implementing a quality assurance system(s).Track record of building productive relationships with public health program staff, field staff, and local stakeholders.Grant writing experience, experience working with federal funders and completing federal reports.Experience with contract/budget development and managementKnowledge of CDC grants, the Community Planning process, HIV Counseling and Testing, Program Monitoring and Evaluation, and Prevention for Positives, Condom Distribution, PREP, PEP, HIV Care Continuum.PLEASE DO NOT APPLY ON THIS SITE.
