Client Overview: Our client is a leading provider of innovative solutions in the packaging manufacturing industry. To support their continued growth herein the USA, we have been called to assist them in identifying a Pricing Manager.
Mission: You will have the opportunity to make the difference in a pivotal role, ensuring the successful deployment of our clients strategy in North America.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to join a very dynamic team, acting as strategic and trusted partner for the commercial and financial team in the North American organization and at Group level, ensuring fast and effective implementation of our clients Go to Market and Pricing Strategy.
You will have full ownership of North America (NA) commercial tracking (both trading volumes and pricing) and be deeply involved in strategic and tactical target setting and, as such, you will benefit of direct exposure to the Senior Management at global level.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will contribute to commercial strategy formulation including budget and forecasts development
- You will develop thought leadership within the Sales and Marketing functions, managing a team that will run rigorous and disciplined sales analysis, extrapolating business insights, facilitating operational processes, always aiming at performance improvements (both product-wise and commercial operation-wise)
- You will design, implement and improve tools and processes to ensure timely performance tracking, providing insights and ongoing recommendation for EBITDA improvement
- You will develop documentation for the Group Business Reviews, complementing quantitative analysis with qualitative inputs coming from NA commercial teams and present it to the Group Executive Team
- You will ensure correct pricing of new/ bespoke products to be launched in the market also according to the value perceived and the competitive landscape
- You will be responsible (with your team) for Power BI reporting/dash-boarding maintenance, management and improvement according to HQ and local business needs
- You will be operatively involved in all the Local Commercial Transformational projects
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- You have 5+ years of experience across Finance, Commercial Excellence or Pricing domain; experience in top management consulting firms is considered a strong plus
- If you have a degree in Business administration, Finance, Management Engineering or related fields it will be seen as a strong plus
- You have a strong analytical background and demonstrated ability to process big amount of data, summarize main so-what and clearly presents outcomes both to senior managers and operational personnel
- You are able to read a P&L and understand main financial KPIs, but also understand relations with commercial and marketing logics (e.g. price, volume, mix growth drivers; gross-to-net structure, etc.)
- You are high energy person, with a team-working approach & excellent communication and people skill
- You are able to work and deliver results in a complex environment, with tolerance for a certain degree of ambiguity
- You are a proficient user of Excel, Power BI and Power Point
