Position Summary
The primary focus of this position is to suggest, develop, and manage strategic promotional pricing initiatives to support competitive positioning across retail and distribution channels. With a targeted focus on channel pricing strategies, this role maintains both internal and external promotions, ensuring alignment with Full Compass's market positioning and corporate objectives.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Pricing Strategies: Suggest, develop, implement, and analyze promotional and channel-specific pricing strategies across product categories to maximize profitability and market competitiveness. Proactively suggest and refine promotional opportunities to maximize business impact.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Merchandising and Sales to align pricing and promotional strategies with current market demands and organizational objectives.
- Audit and Update Vendor Pricing: Conduct regular audits of vendor pricing to ensure competitive positioning; coordinate with Data Associates to manage and execute vendor price updates within company systems.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain: Track price changes, manage credit requests, and address discrepancies effectively to ensure seamless alignment across teams.
- Provide Competitive Insights: Deliver insights and feedback on competitive pricing and promotional activities, supporting informed decision-making for new product introductions and adjustments.
- Manage Vendor Rebate Tracker and Credits: Maintain vendor rebates and proactively seek trailing credits when applicable to ensure fiscal accuracy.
- Maintain Documentation: Keep organized and accurate records of pricing models, discount structures, and promotional campaign documentation.
- Implement Sale Pricing Programs: Execute sale pricing programs and promotions as directed by Merchandising to align with strategic objectives.
- Contribute During Team Meetings: Participate actively in team discussions, offering insights and suggestions for enhancing pricing and promotional activities.
- Respond to Inquiries: Address internal and external inquiries related to pricing and promotions professionally and promptly.
- Demonstrate Team Collaboration: Consistently maintain a positive attitude and collaborative approach to achieve overall team and company goals.

Requirements
Required Education and Experience
- Associate's degree in business, marketing, finance, economics, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience with pricing, merchandising, or a related role within retail, distribution, or consumer products.
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis, especially in understanding pricing trends, promotions, or sales data.
- Experience with managing and prioritizing multiple projects or tasks in a fast-paced environment, such as promotions scheduling and price audits.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, economics, or a related field.
- Knowledge of trends in retail or distribution, especially in the industry relevant to the employer (e.g., Pro Audio, Stage Lighting).
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency with Excel for data analysis, as well as familiarity with ERP or data visualization tools to support strategic pricing adjustments and tracking.

Work Environment
Work is performed in an office environment with minimal, if any, travel outside of the office. The employee may
be required to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee is required sit for extended periods,
frequently stand and walk, reach above shoulders, and use standard office equipment including a computer,
