Qualified applicants will have previously achieved IC6 or at least IC5- Senior Staff Level role)What you'll do:Architect, design, build and integrate our core ad analytics and ad fraud products end to endLead the entire software lifecycle including hands-on development, code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation, in addition to mentoring the teamPartner with the Product team and other stakeholders across the company to understand product requirements, gather business and technical requirements from broadcaster clients, and research and develop solutions, including API developmentManage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, exciting, collaborative environmentBuild and maintain high-performance, fault-tolerant and scalable distributed systems that can handle our massive scaleReview code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency)Automate cloud infrastructure, services, and observabilityDevelop CI/CD pipelines and testing automationEstablish and uphold best engineering practices through thorough code and design reviews and improved processesGroom junior engineers through mentoring and delegationWho you are and what you have:BS/MS in Computer Science, or related STEM degree12-15+ years of hands-on software development experienceSolid overall programming skills, able to write modular, maintainable code in Java/Python & SQLExpert understanding of SQL, dimensional modeling, and at least one relational database including solid contribution to ERDSolid proficiency with automation frameworks/tools like Git, Jenkins, Ansible, and Cloudformation (or Terraform)Solid proficiency with containers and infrastructure-as-code fundamentalsSolid proficiency with Amazon Web ServicesGood understanding of Data Engineering and related frameworksGood understanding of front end frameworks like ReactJS/AngularJSFamiliarity with MVC, SOA, Restful Web servicesWhat puts you over the top:Experience working with DatabricksPrior experience in an external client and/or vendor facing roleExperience with managing, leading and/or mentoring a development teamExperience with big data and data pipelinesExperience working with audio or video technologyExperience in AdTechNew York Applicants: The salary range for this position is $208,600 - $357,600.
