Looking for a recognized master in Firmware & Embedded Software.Key Responsibilities:Develop subsystem and software requirements for energy management systems.Create energy management algorithms, implement and simulate in Matlab/Simulink.Write software (embedded C-code) to support real-time interfacing of control algorithms.Verification and testing of power electronics hardware and software subsystems in a lab environment and a hardware-in-the-loop environment.Perform root cause analysis of failures and identify potential solutions.Directs the activities related to the analysis, design, programming, debugging, troubleshooting and modification of software for firmware (IC embedded code) applications.Oversees programming activities involving analog and digital hardware and software operating systems.May have responsibility for the programming of assembly language, machine language and high level languages, including but not limited to C and C++.Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of experience in embedded software development OR Master's Degree with 6+ years of experience in embedded software development.Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with controls for power electronics and battery management systems.Requires expert to mastery knowledge obtained through advanced education, combined with experience.Advanced knowledge of related disciplines within work area and able to identify links and potential impact on projects, programs and systems.Pay Range: $109,456 - $191,938 Annually#J-18808-Ljbffr
