It is essentialAxioma (a SimCorp company) is currently seeking a technical Sales Professional to join our growing Wealth sales team, bringing Axioma's award winning analytics solutions and services to new and existing wealth clients. The position will be based in San Francisco, Chicago or NY and will require travel to client and prospect locations. It's required for potential hires to have shown strategic development of pipeline projects, able to do their own pre-sales and effective relationship management through direct, practical involvement.Responsibilities:Holistic understanding of the wealth management industry and a passion for partnering with clients to achieve better investment outcomesOversee entire sales process, including Pre-Sales, negotiating and closing sales contractsEnsure efficient sales growth to meet or exceed annual targetsTarget and acquire new accounts through prospecting and networkingIdentify new sales opportunities and initiate and manage sales dialog with these contactsSuccessfully articulate Axioma and SimCorp's value proposition to clientsProvide subject-matter expertise on optimization, risk models, APIs, and portfolio analyticsSolve customers' challenges by applying a combination of technology, business, interpersonal and professional experienceGather product feedback from customers and relay those needs to Product ManagementRegularly report to management on performance vs. sales goalsQualificationsExperience working with the wealth management industry with RIAs, Investment Advisors, Tax Overlay, Direct Indexing and Model portfoliosExperience with Fixed Income and Multi-Asset Class investing highly desirableWould be comfortable applying quantitative methods for analysis and decision-making purposesPossess effective listening skills, expert written and oral communication skills, and genuine enthusiasm for assisting the client/prospect to solve their business problemsBalance the need to build long-term business relationships with clients, but also secure revenues for the Company in the short termMBA, CFA, FRM or other advanced degree in mathematics, statistics, econometrics, operations research or finance highly beneficialTravel: 25%-40%#LI-HybridFor San Francisco and New York City only: The annual salary range for this position is $178,000 – 213,000 USD. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including health care, leave, and retirement plans.
