Your main role is to help the Technology teams work together effectively and efficiently.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION
  • As a Director of Technical Program Management, you will use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish
  • You will work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate with cross-functional partners across the company
  • Responsible for PI Planning - facilitates (together with R&D Operations team) the entire existing process of a Program Increment (PI) planning events, ensuring all teams effectively collaborate to set clear goals, define work items, and create a shared roadmap for the upcoming planning period, while also managing dependencies between teams and mitigating potential risks, all within the framework of an Agile methodology
  • You are equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers
  • Lead the strategic, technical, and program management of large, multi-functional R&D projects
  • Apply your organizational, prioritization, communication and influencing skills to manage multiple concurrent complex interactions with geographically disparate remote teams
  • Develop trusted technical and business partnerships across R&D teams and stakeholders to identify, assess, and resolve recurring challenges
  • Manage risks, issues, and actions for internal customers, and track them regularly to meet the expected outcomes and timelines
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Program Management
  • PMP and/or SAFe certification preferred
  • Fluent with Agile and Scrum principles and values.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Knowledge of Scrum frameworks, practices, and techniques.
  • Ability to coach teams on Scrum ceremonies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to coach and mentor individuals and teams.
  • Strong leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
