We are relentlessly focused on improving how customers experience ads globally. We are seeking a Principal UX Designer to help lead, define, and enhance the end-to-end customer experience (CX). Amazon Ads UX team members collaborate with global product, marketing, branding, science, and technology teams to deliver compelling customer experiences across Amazon.
Key job responsibilities
Analyze customer problems and oversee the design of delightful and intuitive solutions that achieve measurable business goalsMentor designers and serve as a quality bar-raiser for the teamDrive standardization of design systems and visual languages across organizations and verticals while educating team membersPartner closely with product and business partners to develop shared visions and lead the process of designing experiences that deliver on shared objectivesPartner with technology teams to leverage the scale offered by our platform while maintaining core experience principlesPresent design solutions to stakeholders and executive leadership for review, feedback, and approvalEvaluate and measure the impact and effectiveness of UX innovationsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of professional design experienceProven experience designing user interfaces across web, mobile, and native applicationsExperience owning end-to-end product design for large-scale, complex productsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
12+ years of professional UX/UI design experienceMaster's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI)Skill in developing rapid UI prototypesExperience working with distributed teams across multiple time zonesExperience working with retail, technology development, and device partnersExperience in implementing accessible and inclusive design principlesStrong skills in both working with and presenting to executive leadersProficiency in Figma and modern design toolsExperience driving, maintaining, and mechanizing collaboration across teams with divergent needs/goalsPortfolio showcasing end-to-end design solutions for complex productsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
