(Responsibilities The primary role of the material handler position is to distribute materials throughout the production floor, scanning product, and moving it to specified locations while operating powered industrial trucks in a safe manner. 12 Hr Shift 4:50am to 5:00pm (Friday, Saturday, & Sunday) $2.25/hr shift differential; profit sharing bonus eligible Report to front line leadership. Communicate between shifts to anticipate & prepare for any production concerns Stock machines with correct materials by reading, interpreting and processing lot information and material type. Move product to and from appropriate machines to WIP area or Warehouse area. Verify ID stickers and carton labels using hand held scanner. Assist Palletizer or Shipping as needed. Stock warehouse with product as needed Maintain lot documentation when moving scrap. Report any non-conformances to front line leadership. Perform routine housekeeping and cleaning as assigned/required Uphold Safety Absolutes Work & perform to ISO standards, SOPs & established Work Instructions Uphold Quality Standards & follow the Absolutes. Other duties as assigned. Contribution to Safety, Quality and GMP Maintain a clean, healthy and safe workplace by ensuring adherence to safetystandards. Conduct required safety reviews of equipment and processes prior to project start-up. Support the accomplishment of your work groups through the quality, timeliness andprofessionalism of your attitude. Supply accurate and timely data as required by performance tracking and reporting. Uphold Safety Absolutes Apply resources in a manner that maximizes their effectiveness while assuringquality. Maintain a work environment that will contribute to the assurance of safety and GMPcompliance. Adhere to established procedures, perform self-checking and pay attention to detailin the performance of you and your team's work. Notify management in a timely manner of any problems with procedural compliance. Report observed quality problems and deficiencies in a timely manner. Make recommendations to management for improving the quality and efficiency ofyour work. Oversee work to ensure projects are completed. Qualifications Capable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and lifting. Capable of reading, writing, and speaking English. Capable of lifting up to 35lbs repeatedly. Capable of operating a forklift in a safe and cautious manner to the satisfaction of the supervisor; six months of forklift driving experience required. Previous experience in material handling or shipping/receiving preferred. Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Bump Cap or Hard Hat, Safety Eyewear or Prescription Safety Eyewear, Safety Shoes, Hearing Protection and Disposable Mask. Capable of maintaining an attendance record within Company guidelines and working required overtime. Some computer skills with ability to interpret work orders High School Graduate or equivalent Negative drug screen results.
