Printing Press Operator - Cimarron Label : Job Details

Sheet Fed Press Operator - 2nd Shift (Mon - Thur 2:30pm - 1am)

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate a sheet fed press to complete print projects efficiently.

• Run tests and trials as requested.

• Detect and report defective materials or potential problems; complete quality checks.

• Balance quality, productivity, cost and safety to achieve positive results.

• Maintains clean and orderly work area and equipment.

• Performs preventative maintenance on machine as required.

• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) related to job function and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP'S).

• Comply with all company policies.

• Work OT as required.

Knowledge/Skills:

• High School Diploma or General education degree (GED)

• Set process color to standard ink densities; register/fit process color.

• Strong attention to detail and able to work in a fast paced environment.

• Good mechanical aptitude with ability to problem solve.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team environment.

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 40 lbs on a regular basis.

• Previous experience as a multi-color sheet fed press operator is preferred or have the ability to learn quickly.
