Operations also provides essential risk management and controls to preserve and enhance the firm's assets and its reputation. For every trade agreed upon, every new product launched, every market entered, and every transaction completed, Operations develops the processes and controls that make business flow. The Private Banking Operations team is a high-paced risk management and client service team. The team is responsible for both internal and external firm banking inquiries, daily vendor settlements, balance and break reconciliations, account enrollment, vendor management, and fraud monitoring for all banking products (e.g., debit cards, checking, ACH, Bill Pay, etc.) in support of the PWM client account base. How You Will Fulfill Your Potential:
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the Private Banking organization by developing a deeper understanding of banking products and growing your network across operations, technology, compliance, legal, and the business.
- Become involved with innovative fraud strategy development to protect client and firm assets from the ever-growing fraud landscape.
- Showcase strong control and risk management skills by ensuring compliance with industry regulations and firm policies.
- Develop strategies and opportunities for process efficiencies to reduce manual tasks while increasing control in a rapidly growing business.
Skills: - Bachelor's degree, with prior experience working in financial services as a plus.
- Proven client service skills, teamwork, and a sense of urgency to fulfill time-sensitive and highly confidential tasks.
- Ability to develop and nurture relationships with senior business leaders within a cross-divisional team.
- Self-motivated and proactive team player who takes ownership and accountability for projects, has strong organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
