Description

TITLE: Private Banking Relationship Manager

JOB FAMILY: Private Banking

JOB SUMMARY:

The Private Banking Relationship Manager is responsible for portfolio development, business development, client retention and relationship management for Private Banking clients. Responsible for growing a portfolio through the development of client relationships and providing a high level of financial advice to meet the client's needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Develop, retain, and enhance the private banking portfolio, including deposits and loans, through a variety of business development efforts, community involvement, client events and proactive appointments.

* Promote and cross- sell the bank's full line of consumer, wealth management and business products and services, ensuring that clients' financial needs are met, and long-term relationships are developed.

* Maintain strong knowledge of bank lending policies, preferred loan quality characteristics and other quality control measures.

* Actively manage loan portfolio, including new loan generation, collection on past due loans, renewals of maturing loans, perfecting collateral interest, including insurance requirement.

* Deliver a high degree of personal contact and open communication with clients that creates a superior customer experience.

* Maintain a close working relationship with other lines of business to foster a team approach to client service.

* Collaborate with Private Banking Associates and Loan Assistants to manage loan quality monitoring and tickler management and manage loan renewals.

* Comply with all company or regulatory policies, procedures and requirements that are applicable to this position.

* Foster and preserve a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

* Additional duties and responsibilities may be required to support the company's mission, vision and values.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

* Minimum five years in sales or client service; financial services industry experience desired.

* Experience in consumer lending and knowledge of deposit, wealth management and bank regulatory requirements.

* Strong customer service skills including the capability to establish rapport with clients.

* Capability to work and collaborate with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and professional manner.

* Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

* Under the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 ( SAFE Act ), and as a Mortgage Loan Originator ( MLO ), this position requires registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry. The registration requires additional background screening and must be completed within 30 days of employment. QCRH will maintain adequate procedures to ensure to ensure all employees acting in the capacity of an MLO maintain their registration.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

* Duties are performed in a professional office environment.

* Requires travel to other bank or client locations.

* Requires hours outside of standard business hours which may include breakfast, lunch and dinner meetings and other client events.
