The Vice President will join a high-performing Investment Team and play a pivotal role in deal execution, sourcing, credit analysis, financial modeling, and portfolio management. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on fintech, specialty finance, and asset-backed corporate finance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deal Sourcing: Actively identify and build relationships with emerging companies to originate investment opportunities.
  • Investment Memos: Develop in-depth investment memos that address key risks and insights, supporting decision-making for the Investment Committee.
  • Transaction Leadership: Manage due diligence processes, including legal, commercial, and operational evaluations, while leading deal negotiations and documentation.
  • Credit Underwriting: Analyze and structure complex investments, including collateral-backed facilities, asset-backed securities (ABS), and bespoke credit structures.
  • Portfolio Monitoring: Oversee performance and reporting for portfolio companies, ensuring optimal risk management and value creation.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilize large, diverse datasets to perform quantitative analyses and build collections/charge-off curves, measuring loss coverages and returns.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6+ years in structured/asset-based finance, private credit investing, or leveraged finance/debt capital markets.
  • Technical Expertise: Advanced Excel skills required; familiarity with tools like Alteryx is a plus. Proficiency in financial statement analysis and credit underwriting is essential.
  • Industry Network: Established connections within fintech and specialty finance sectors.
