Summary

The Private Label Manager is responsible for leading the private label businesses from bid to exit. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and supply chain management. The Private Label Manager will work closely with the customer and various departments, including marketing, sales, and procurement, to ensure the success of private label product lines.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate opportunities based on company criteria and recommend action.
• Develop pricing and other inputs needed for bids.
• Understand the competitive environments and customer needs to create the strongest profitable fit.
• Lead cross-functional commercialization of accepted bids.
• Manage product changes and product formulations.
• Conduct business and financial analysis for Private Label lines with key insights and recommendations.
• Provide long-range and annual planning.
• Provide data inputs for selling deck presentations for the sales team.
• Monitor business margins and take appropriate actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, or related field required.
• 4+ years' experience in the food and beverage CPG industry.
• Strong analytical skills and financial skills to manage profitability and pricing.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently or part of a team.
• Experience with major customers such as Trader Joe's and HEB a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
• Ability to travel 10-15%.
