PRN Emergency Medicine Practitioner - Critical Access Network, LLC : Job Details

Join our team as a PRN Emergency Medicine Practitioner! We are looking for dedicated healthcare professionals to provide essential services on an ongoing basis. Ideal candidates may come from various specialties, including family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine backgrounds.

Key Details:

• Flexible coverage options available: travel to designated facilities or conduct exams within your own practice.
• Work options include half-day shifts (4 hours) or full-day shifts (8 hours).
• Perform non-treatment Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and separation health assessments.
• Conduct primarily interview-based evaluations with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• No prescribing or treatment will be involved.
• Quick credentialing and onboarding process.
• DMA certification is available, with the opportunity to earn CME credits upon obtaining privileges.
• Goniometer usage is required; familiarity with musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions is essential.
• Proficiency in METs testing and evaluating/diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions is necessary.
• Must own a personal laptop (Windows based, no MACs).
• Training will be provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs).
• Completed reports/DBQs must be submitted within 48 hours of exam completion with no narrative report—only standardized forms are required.
• Evaluate cases in the VES provider portal, ensuring comprehensive record reviews.
• Regular follow-up administrative tasks will be needed, including addendums, medical opinions, and diagnostic reading.

Compensation:

• Half-day rate: $500 flat for shifts of 4 hours or less (includes exam completion and report submission; no overtime).
• Daily rate: $1200 flat for shifts of 5 hours or longer (includes exam completion and report submission; no overtime).
