Probation Officer II - Spalding CSO & ISP - Griffin, GA (COM) - State of Georiga : Job Details

Under general supervision, investigates, counsels and provides continuous supervision for juvenile probationers to assist in their social and personal adjustment. Manages an assigned caseload. JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES: - Performs arrests of parolees who have violated the terms of their release, in accordance with statutory requirements. - Writes reports detailing clients' progress and other reports/paperwork as necessary accurately completing them within established time frame. - Testifies in court concerning matters pertaining to clients such as sentencing, trials, pleas and violations of probation or parole conditions. - Provides offenders with assistance in matters concerning detainees, sentences in other jurisdictions, and writs. - Monitors and conducts surveillance of probationers/parolees. - Investigates background histories of probationers or parolees; review court files, police reports and other pertinent reports to gather information. - Investigates activities of probationers or pa...Officer, Business Services, Benefits, Office, Reports
